I miss your Uncle Jack, Uncle Jim, and Old Grandad. Many holidays are no longer the same without their spirited jokes and horseplay. Remember the time Uncle Jim made you laugh so hard you puked in your bed? What a sight! Sadly, because you enjoyed their presence so much, they are no longer invited to our house except for special occasions, like winning the lottery or having Microsoft post $3 dividends.

As for not picking you up after school...that had nothing to do with alcohol. We just told you that to make you feel better. Good thing you left a bread crumb trail that morning.

And with that, Bailes leaves his seat at the bar, saunters over to the rack of pool cues on the wall, rips the thickest one off and unflinchingly cracks it over his knee. He circles the two splintered halves over his head while beckoning Maleah to "Bring it on!" That's right, Bailes is back in town!

I have to say that I'm sorry for beinng absent from the comment section for awhile. My internet connection is terrible. Thankfully I can drive down to the local grocery store and buy all the liquor I want. Maleah is crazy having it at my fingertips is the best thing ever.

Sadly, I find that living in a state with similar alcoholic warehouses as Vegas, I buy very little liquor. I know you're wondering, "why wouldn't any one booze it up when they could just go down to the local Food 4 Less (where alcohol is cheap and very abundant with no special taxes) or Albertsons and buy a fifth of whatever they would like? How could any one stand to be sober in such a situation?" I find that having it at my fingertips where ever I go makes it less exciting, less "wrong," and therefore less desirable. I say here here to state liquor where doing nothing illegal makes you feel so criminal.

I bet you're in the doghouse for that last paragraph. I doubt that Jenette ever "reeks" of booze. I wholeheartedly agree that washington liquor stores are a debacle. Seriously, holidays are a time when liquor should be plentiful! Oh well, another "tax" on happiness. Man, I'm jealous of your warehouse experience. This is the sort of thing that dreams are made of.
